Gifts of Love International is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged children in Haiti and Guatemala through humanitarian aid and ongoing education.
We provide resources that equip children and families to build a healthy, sustainable future.
Our faith-based non-profit work encompasses food relief, clean water initiatives, sustainable agriculture, education, job training, and healthcare, addressing both immediate needs and long-term development. Our goal is to create lasting change, empowering children to grow, learn, and step into adulthood with dignity and hope.
Our projects bring life-altering change for children across Haiti and Guatemala, investing in stronger families, healthier communities, and a future where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Serving Across Guatemala and Haiti
We serve across Guatemala and Haiti, providing assistance to schools, churches, health clinics, and community centers. Gifts of Love International was founded in 2003 by Don and Barb Kassebaum after serving in Guatemala to help underprivileged children. Since then, Gifts of Love International has dedicated their resources to providing aid to the people of Guatemala and soon after expanded to Haiti.

Guatemala
In Guatemala, our programs include primary and secondary education for children, community feeding and medical care, and mentorship opportunities for young adults
In the community of Brito, Guatemala our school Niños Amados Academy provides education to students from elementary through high school, and serves the community with food relief and medical care. Niños Amados empowers children through education, provides job training, and hosts local church and community events at our event center. The academy is a source of medical aid, education, and safety for local children. With generous supporters, we continue to grow and impact more people every day as our efforts expand through Niños Amados.
In Antigua, Guatemala we host a young adult program, giving students the resources to obtain key job skills, leadership training, and service opportunities to give back to the community. Graduates of the program go on to complete college throughout Guatemala, start their own micro-business, or intern with a local organization.
Haiti

Our work in La Gonâve, Haiti, serves the children and families in the community of Anse-a-Galet, where we are committed to providing hope, stability, and opportunities for a brighter future.
Our school equips youth with a quality education, empowering them with knowledge and skills that will help break cycles of poverty and create pathways to success. Beyond education, we extend our outreach to the entire community through essential programs, including feeding initiatives that combat food insecurity, clean water projects that provide safe drinking water, and other forms of assistance aimed at improving overall well-being.
These programs not only address immediate needs but also lay the foundation for long-term transformation. By nurturing young minds, strengthening families, and fostering self-sufficiency, we are actively shaping a future where children can grow, learn, and thrive. With the ongoing support of donors and volunteers, we continue to expand our impact, reaching more children and families each year and ensuring that they have the resources necessary to build a better tomorrow.

How We Help:
Our Humanitarian Projects

Non Profit Education
We bring education to those in need, providing schools and academic assistance to over 600 students across Guatemala and Haiti. Our teachers in Haiti provide K-12 education to help local children learn and grow towards academic excellence, while our teachers in Guatemala provide quality education for K-12th graders in underserved communities.

Food Relief
For over 25 years, our Food Relief Initiative has provided daily meals for over 1,100 children, across the coastal community of Anse-a-Galets, with efforts expanding across the La Gonâve Island in Haiti. These food relief efforts help hundreds of families combat malnutrition and provide children more hopeful futures.

Clean Water
Our efforts in Haiti have yielded multiple significant results in combating water scarcity and improving agricultural sustainability through milestones like drilling wells and providing desalination machines. This provides clean drinking water and assists in growing fresh crops for children across the region.

Non Profit Healthcare
Our non-profit healthcare clinics provide essential medical services to the people of La Gonâv Island in Haiti. We offer free care for those in need, while also offering a low-cost option to ensure continued access to quality healthcare. From pediatric care to addressing critical health issues, we are committed to supporting the well-being of the entire community.
