Food Relief

Feeding children is our number one priority in Haiti, because every child deserves to live a happy, healthy life, filled with hope.

School and Community Feeding Programs

GOLI's Food Relief Initiative has been a beacon of hope for the coastal community of Anse-à-Galets on La Gonâve Island, Haiti, for over 25 years. Work in Haiti began with a group of faithful, committed people that established the work that we now call GOLI - Haiti.

Operating six days a week, this vital program serves over 1000 children daily, often providing their only nourishment for the day.

Additionally, GOLI's school ensures that 450 students receive daily meals, contributing to their overall health and academic success. Since its inception, GOLI has played a crucial role in significantly reducing signs of starvation and improving overall health outcomes.

Despite the program's success in Anse-à-Galets, neighboring mountainous regions still face a dire humanitarian crisis. Severe malnutrition among children and limited access to healthcare services underscore the urgent need for intervention. In response, GOLI is steadfast in its commitment to expanding the Food Relief Initiative to these remote areas.
