Healthcare

We work to heal the wounded, the sick, the brokenhearted, and the lost.

Free Access to Healthcare

As the only free healthcare clinic on La Gonâve Island, Haiti, we serve 25-30 children daily, in addition to our students and staff. Our services cover a range of medical needs, from respiratory problems to pediatric care, addressing critical health issues within the community. Our healthcare clinic is staffed by two licensed doctors, two registered nurses, one pharmacist, and dedicated support personnel.

However, sustaining our impact requires ongoing support to provide medicine to everyone seeking care, an area where we face shortages despite our efforts. Despite challenges, our clinic has saved lives, prevented illness outbreaks, and forged partnerships with organizations like La Gonve Wesleyen Hospital and AmeriCares to ensure critical care reaches those in need.

Our vision extends further with plans for a Mobile Clinic initiative, to bring essential medical services to the surrounding remote regions, pending crucial funding for operational costs.

At GOLI, we work to heal the wounded, the sick, the brokenhearted, and the lost. We believe in taking the proper steps to not only treat the physical but give spiritual care to every patient we are blessed to serve.

In Haiti, GOLI provides children with free healthcare through our medical staff which includes 2 doctors, and 3 nurses, a pharmacy technician and a lab technician along with administrative staff that sees 25-30 children a day at our free outpatient clinic, three days a week.  Our staff consistently treats child illnesses while focusing on further preventing others that exacerbate malnutrition.

We have 2 doctors on staff to see patients.

Our nurses and pharmacy technicians administer medication at our clinic.

We have 3 nurses on staff at our medical clinic.
